Pay: $75,000-$100,000/year salary + bonuses

We are hiring an Agronomy Sales Rep to support local growers and help them improve yield, profitability, and long-term success. The Agronomy Sales Rep will work directly with farmers, provide agronomy recommendations, and manage customer accounts across the Eastern Indiana region. This Agronomy Sales Rep role requires basic knowledge of crop production, soil sampling, crop growth stages, and agronomy practices.
Build relationships with growers and understand their farm goals
Make regular on-farm visits and maintain communication by phone, text, or digital tools
Use agronomy software (AGx, Connect) to review data and make recommendations
Promote and sell agronomy products and services
Create simple customer account plans and track progress
Meet sales goals and manage a territory efficiently
Keep accurate notes and records in CRM tools
Work with agronomy, grain, energy, and nutrition teams
Assist with minor operational tasks (seed delivery, materials transport)
CDL not required — CDL training paid for
1–3 years of agronomy or ag sales experience preferred
Knowledge of crop production, soil sampling, and corn/soybean growth cycles
Strong communication and relationship skills
Organized, self-directed, and deadline-driven
Able to learn software tools and product portfolios
Willing to work extended hours during peak seasons
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related field preferred
